Dear Parents and Carers and Friends of All Saints,

We always get to this stage of the year and wonder how we got here. The year seems to have gone so quickly. That of course could be due to my age!

Last week the parents of Mary were celebrated as part of the Church year. When we think of Mary it is hard to imagine her as a little girl, or even a baby, with a mum and dad who cared for her, just as we care for our children. 

A special welcome to our class of new Reception children and the families who joined the All Saints community this Term. The children's first day was full of exciting new experiences and settled into the routine of school life, eating their “brain” food and taking part in their first Italian lesson. We are sure they will all slept very well that night!

My journey at All Saints Catholic Primary School first started in 2017, when I was a student teacher in Jessica Rusby's classroom. I'm excited to be returning as a Teacher and look forward to being a part of the community. On the weekend I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends. In particular I love being outdoors, hiking and days at the beach. My hobbies also include painting, yoga and hanging out with my dogs Coco and Daisy.

At All Saints we believe in recognising positive behaviour.  Regularly Ms Keogh invites learners who have continually gone over and above, to share a drink and a chat together.

We invite parents and carers to join us for an Assembly at 10am on Friday, 9th August in the Hall, followed by a walk around the oval with the children, supporting The Hutt Street Centre.

Advanced notice of a Pupil Free Day in Term 3, 2019

Last week 1 Carlier were lucky enough to participate in National Tree Day. The children, combined with the rest of the Year 1 cohort planted over 50 trees and shrubs around our school. This memorable experience connected nicely with the children’s learning about natural and constructed environments in Geography and what living things need to grow in Science. 

This term, we welcome two more new Social Work students, Amber and Mamata from Flinders University. They will be supporting our school, assisting us to implement and embed a range of wellbeing initiatives aimed at building our community. THINK 90s! was the theme for last Friday's Quiz Night, marking another 25th birthday celebration for All Saints Catholic Primary School.  

The Year 6 children visited Cardijn College earlier this week for an Immersion Day to experience a day in the life at high school.
