Dear Parents, Carers and Friends of All Saints,

We had a wonderful celebration of All Saints music recently. Nearly 40 individual acts performed including the Band and the Senior Choir. We had singers and trumpeters, guitarists, pianists and even a drummer. Many families joined us to support their children and celebrate their achievements. 

As we approach the end of the year I would like to thank all of our families in the All Saints community for your support. It has been a busy year and I have enjoyed working with you and your children together, in support of their wellbeing.

The Year 6 children recently hosted their last assembly at All Saints, followed by a special morning tea they prepared to thank their families for their support during primary school.

At All Saints we believe in recognising positive behaviour.  Regularly Ms Keogh invites learners who have continually gone over and above, to share a drink and a chat together.

Primary School children are invited to come along and enjoy a day of Christmas make and take and other fun activities on Wednesday December 18th 10.00 am-2.00 pm. Registration forms are available from the SCC administration desk and the All Saints Catholic Primary School office. Please return completed forms to the SCC Office by Friday December 13th.

As a whole school community, we had the opportunity to farewell our Year 6 cohort. The circle blessing is a tradition that has been with our school for 25 years. It is based on the Aboriginal tradition of gathering in a circle, where everyone stands side-by-side and everyone is equal. 

We are pleased to share the All Saints Catholic Primary School 2020 Staff List.

With our time at All Saints coming to an end, 6H have been busy preparing to celebrate this milestone and moving on to the next stage of our educational journey. 

This year All Saints implemented a school wide swimming and aquatics program. The program is designed to teach fundamental swimming skills, water safety skills, first aid and water rescues. The program starts with our Reception to Year 2 children visiting Seaford State Swim for swimming lessons. Whilst our Year 3/4 classes attended Port Noarlunga Aquatic Centre where they took part in a variety of beach activities and water safety activities. The Year 5/6 children were due to attend Moana Beach, where Surf Lifesaving SA would take them through beach safety, water rescues and basic first aid.  Unfortunately, due to poor weather the Year 5 day had to be cancelled.

I was delighted to attend the Thanksgiving Liturgy last Tuesday and disappointed that, because of prior commitments that evening, I was unable to stay for the concert. 

On behalf of the Seaford Christian Churches SCC (formerly SEM) and the many people helped by our Outreach Programs to people in need, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all families who so generously supported the All Saints School Christmas Hamper Appeal.  You can surely imagine the smiles on the faces of the hamper recipients when they open their gift hampers on Christmas morning.

Over the summer holidays the City of Onkaparinga Libraries will be running the Mayor’s Summer Reading Club. It is a great opportunity for children to keep reading, improve their literacy and visit their local library.
