Dear Parents, Carers and Friends of All Saints,

Well it’s great to be able to write a newsletter that doesn’t entirely focus on COVID-19.
This week we have seen over 93% of our children return to face to face learning. The teachers and staff are delighted to have all the children back on site with us, comfortable with their familiar routines and procedures. We are very grateful to you all for persevering with our new pickup and drop off arrangements – we continue to be informed by the SA Health and Catholic Education SA in regards to the practices we are using. One benefit may be less flu impact across the school this winter. We continue to have additional cleaning practices across the school and constant hygiene reminders to the children.

So this morning, with the help of Shaun from Sure Shot Mobile Coffee, we set up a free coffee pick up in the carpark for the mums, as they headed off to start their day.

Happy Easter everyone!

It seems so long ago now that the Easter Bunny visited excited children and we all ate way too much chocolate (well I did). You might be surprised to know that it is still Easter! In fact, Easter lasts for 70 days, beginning on Easter Sunday and ending on Pentecost Sunday, which is May 31. Whenever I tell children this they all exclaim “Why aren’t we still getting Easter eggs?!”

When I read my jumper and jacket I see it says Catholic Primary School. – Holly
We are kind to one another. – Charlotte
Cause it says on our jumper. - Hunter

What makes being in a Catholic school different to a non-Catholic school?
We pray to connect to God. – Amelia
Being in a Catholic school is different to a non-Catholic school because Catholic schools learn detailed religion. – Tyler

What do Catholic schools teach you that other schools do not?
Jesus died on the cross. – Ella
Catholic schools have special Assemblies. We pray in the classroom in a circle. - Makai

How does being in a Catholic School raise your heart and mind?

As a class the children created a heart collage to share what they think makes All Saints special. We also reflected on our school values and the children have enjoyed singing ‘You Raise Me Up’ as a part of our daily prayer.
